GRACE NOTES
are words of inspiration
from Pastor Robinson or a designee
for the posting.

Women’s History Month honors the contributions of women to history, culture, and society. Since 1987, it has been observed annually in March, in the United States. This period of time is dedicated to reflecting on the numerous but often-overlooked contributions of women such as Abigail Adams, Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, and Rosa Parks to American history from independence to the present day.

MWAA-NBC’s Media Team has chosen five (5) noteworthy women (young and seasoned) to pay such homage to each MONDAY, during March 2021. The first honoree is Aretha Franklin who became the “Queen of Soul” but started as a singer in the church. In fact, we’ve been told by a substantial source that she was even featured at one or more national conventions of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
